Founded in October 2011 by Mr. Prassana Ranaweera, the LPA proudly stands as the 57th nation to join the Union Internationale Motonautique (UIM).
Our mission is to pioneer the sport of powerboat racing in the Indian Ocean, representing the pinnacle of aquatic motorsport in Sri Lanka.

Technical Excellence
The LPA has demonstrated unmatched logistical and technical capability by successfully hosting Thundercat/P750, Formula 1, and Formula 2 events.
